Motivated by a supercharged V-8 engine producing an estimated 550 horsepower (410 kW), the Camaro ZL1 Camaro will be the fastest ever offered by Chevrolet. The name is derived from motor racing completely of aluminum with the same name, which was developed in late 1960 and installed in a handful of regular production of 1969 Camaro.
