Why the numbers are what they are?

A number is an abstract entity that represents a quantity (of magnitude), and its origin is lost in the mists of time.

The use everyday, we are inseparable from them, but you've asked yourself why the numbers are as they are, why the 1 is 1, and 2 is 2 ,...? :? You know? if the answer is yes, Oh, vendita curiosity! I congratulate you;). But usually this curious fact escapes most (I say this from experience).

Over time we changed to write on a curb, soft, according to legend, the Arabic numerals are represented by the number of angles that are to be written.

Define color: ...?

The color is visual perception nerve signals generated by the photoreceptors in the retina of the eye sends to the brain uptake of certain wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum.
Uff, stayed no concept. xD Well the question is, what are the colors that are defined as primary: ...? Aja, Yellow, Blue and Red, the same are the ones who are not, hehe. There are 2 groups of primary colors:

For addition or primary colors of light: Red , Green and Blue . Implies that light is emitted directly from a light source of some kind, for example, televisions and monitors. Combining these three colors with the same intensity, there is white.


By subtraction, or primary colors of pigment: Cyan , Magneta and Yellow . Explains the theory of mixing paints or inks to create colors which absorb some wavelengths and reflect others, such as printer or crayons on a white sheet. The removal of these 3 colors produces white.

Ok. Consider an apple "red." When viewed under white light looks red. But this does not mean that emits red light, which would be the case an additive synthesis. Doing so would be able to see in the dark. Instead, it absorbs some of the wavelengths that make up white light, reflecting only those humans see as red. Humans are the red apple because of the particular operation of your eye and brain interpretation of the information that reaches the eye.
